Hey TwinFlamers 🌙💫

It’s Sarah again — and if you’re feeling a little more emo and introspective than usual this month, blame (or thank) Scorpio season. November is when the cosmic energy shifts inward: it’s about transformation, honesty, and emotional depth.

This is the time to slow down, reflect, and maybe even ask yourself some uncomfortable questions — the ones that lead to real growth. That’s why this month, I’ve been obsessed with a TwinFlame tool that’s perfect for shadow work and self-discovery: the Enneagram.

🦂 What Scorpio Season Teaches Us

Scorpio season is ruled by Pluto — the planet of rebirth, secrets, and intensity. It encourages us to dig deep and look beyond the surface. That might sound intimidating, but it’s how transformation begins.

This energy pairs beautifully with the Enneagram, a system that helps us understand the motives and fears driving our behavior. It’s not about labeling yourself — it’s about learning what parts of you are calling for awareness and compassion.

🔮 A Little History of the Enneagram

The Enneagram (pronounced ANY-uh-gram) has ancient roots — its symbol traces back to mystical and philosophical traditions from early Christianity, Sufism, and Greek thought.

In the 20th century, it was developed into a modern psychological framework by teachers like Oscar Ichazo and Claudio Naranjo, who combined ancient wisdom with modern psychology.

Today, it’s one of the most powerful tools for self-awareness — used by therapists, spiritual teachers, and even CEOs to understand human motivation and emotional growth.

The word Enneagram literally means “nine points,” representing nine personality types that map how we relate to the world.

🌗 The Nine Enneagram Types

Here’s a quick overview of each type — see which one sounds most like you:

  1. The Reformer (Type 1) — Idealistic, ethical, wants to improve everything. Shadow: self-criticism and perfectionism.

  2. The Helper (Type 2) — Caring, generous, and relationship-oriented. Shadow: over-giving to feel loved.

  3. The Achiever (Type 3) — Driven, adaptable, and image-conscious. Shadow: tying worth to success.

  4. The Individualist (Type 4) — Creative, emotional, deeply authentic. Shadow: feeling misunderstood or “too much.”

  5. The Investigator (Type 5) — Curious, cerebral, and independent. Shadow: retreating into isolation or overthinking.

  6. The Loyalist (Type 6) — Responsible, loyal, security-focused. Shadow: anxiety and worst-case-scenario thinking.

  7. The Enthusiast (Type 7) — Spontaneous, fun, and freedom-loving. Shadow: avoiding pain through distractions.

  8. The Challenger (Type 8) — Bold, protective, and assertive. Shadow: control issues and fear of vulnerability.

  9. The Peacemaker (Type 9) — Calm, accepting, and harmony-seeking. Shadow: avoidance and self-forgetting.

Each type has a core fear, a core desire, and a path to growth — and discovering your type through TwinFlame’s Enneagram test is like holding up a mirror to your inner self.

🌑 The Enneagram as Shadow Work

Shadow work isn’t about “fixing” yourself. It’s about acknowledging what you’ve hidden — your defense mechanisms, insecurities, and patterns — and bringing them into the light.

When you understand your Enneagram type, you start to see these patterns clearly. For example:

  • A Type 3 might realize they hide behind productivity when they’re afraid of being rejected.

  • A Type 4 might notice how they romanticize sadness instead of embracing stability.

  • A Type 9 might see how they “numb out” to avoid conflict.

The awareness alone is healing. It’s how we start transforming judgment into understanding — Scorpio’s favorite kind of magic.

✍️ Try This Reflection Ritual

After taking your Enneagram test in the app, open your Journal and reflect on these prompts:

  1. What part of your type resonates the most right now?

  2. What pattern are you ready to release?

  3. What does compassion for your shadow look like this week?

And remember — every type has both a shadow and a gift. When you honor both, you integrate instead of suppress.

🕯 Gratitude for Growth

As we move toward Thanksgiving, remember that gratitude isn’t just for the pretty moments. It’s also for the parts of you that kept going when things got hard.

This month, give thanks for your inner work. For the parts of you that protected you, adapted for you, and stayed loyal to your survival. Scorpio season is about honoring all of it — the dark, the light, and the transformation that happens when we finally accept both.

✨ The Invitation

Take your Enneagram test in the TwinFlame app and see what your shadow is ready to teach you.

Self-knowledge is power — but self-compassion? That’s alchemy. 💜

Until next time, stay luminous 🌑
