A Soundtrack for You
Hello my vibrational souls,
It’s crazy how fast it seems February came and went. I don’t know if it’s because the blogs I write are a week in advance or because this past week disappeared due to the power outages caused by the winter storms here in Texas, but nevertheless, we have survived and here we are at the end of February.
I hope you have found my blogs somewhat useful and at the very least, entertaining. Growth is a slow but rewarding process and I hope you all have shown yourself a bit of dedication to this process because that’s where it starts.
Mercury has gone direct and we are approaching the full moon in Virgo. This full moon could bring out the perfectionist in us as we try to organize the chaos.
(No exaggeration on the chaos.)
Letting go of expectations can help us to achieve clarity.
That seems to be the theme over the past year especially. Letting go of how things were with a partner, how easy it should be to get a job after graduating college, being able to go somewhere without a mask or even letting go of not being where you wanted to be at this point in your life.
Yeah, we have had a whole year to adjust to the new way of living but has the way we plan to accomplish our ideas and goals adjusting too? Or are we still waiting for our situation (whatever that may be) to get better before we can start living again?
I don’t know how many times, prior to the pandemic, I would ask the universe to slow down, freeze time, just give me a day to get my life together! And here we are almost a whole year into our “pause of time”. The world has slowed down so we can rediscover ourselves. Or at least that’s how I like to look at it.
Instead of waiting, start thinking about how to adapt your current situation into what you want. Life doesn’t have to stop because things haven’t returned to “normal” or because things aren’t how you thought they would be. Remember your direction is more important than your speed.
What I have found helpful is waking up and playing music that creates the mood I want to mirror. When the first thing you experience in your day brings you peace, it is easier to carry that throughout your day than having to create it later.
You can’t control everything that happens in your day but you can control how you respond to it.
Focus on being adaptable. Change is inevitable, and I have found so much solace in working towards this transition with music.
I enjoy all genres of music and I have found my current favorite song from the Air Element Playlist – Lisztomania by Phoenix on TwinFlame Music.
TwinFlame Music has curated songs and playlists for your zodiac element on AppleMusic and Spotify!
There are four elements in Astrology: Water, Earth, Fire and Air. Each of the twelve signs are divided into each element that represents personality tendencies.
Each group has distinct traits. Together, they form the natural world, so each is in some way dependent on the other.
Fun fact: I have my element tattooed on the back of my leg. I connect with my air sign just as much as I do with my zodiac sign.
You can discover your element below.
Water: Cancer, Pisces, Scorpio
Water signs rely more on their senses than logic. They’re nurturing, perceptive and understanding. Water signs seek the deeper meaning of things, they are led by their feelings or vibes in a situation more than anything else.
Earth: Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo
Earth signs are grounded in reality. Order helps Earth signs feel in control and safe. Earth signs are skilled at managing and using resources. They’re also sensual and very much attached to what can physically see or touch.
Fire: Sagittarius, Aries, Leo
There is little in the way of reflection, fire is impulsive. They have pride, passion, courage, creativity and impulse. Fire is difficult to contain and is guided by spirit.
Air: Aquarius, Libra, Gemini
Air signs are humanitarian, intellectual, social and communicative. Air signs are all about action, ideas and motion. They are the “winds of change” and may express their emotions more freely.
