We have entered April, and the other side of the Libra Moon! What a magical sight it was viewing it from the Chisos mountain range of the Chihuahuan Desert, in southwest Texas at Big Bend National Park. My friend and I decided to take a trip to bask in it during the transition into Spring and a Moon paired with my Sun sign, Libra!

And, now that the weather is in a sweet place, we can be outside and not freeze or burn to death, but just get lightly soaked in the rain fall.
A few things happening this month:
New moon in Aries on the 11th. This fiery new moon gives us the courage to meet challenges and boldly follow our passions. It’s an excellent time to set new intentions.
On the 12th Juno goes retrograde in Sagittarius. More relationship issues come to a head as Juno, the asteroid of marriage and long- term commitments, goes retrograde in Sagittarius. It could trigger jealousy and impulsive behaviors.
And, on the 14th Venus enter Taurus. At home in one of her ruling signs, Venus gives us four weeks of happiness, luxury, and security in our romantic and financial pursuits.
In celebration of modern holidays, Happy April Fool’s Day! April 1st consists of practical jokes and hoaxes, where often yelling “April Fools!” at the end to clue in the subject of the April Fools’ Day prank.
Though, the origins of this holiday remain a mystery, there’s speculation that April Fools’ Day was tied to the vernal equinox, or first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere, when Mother Nature fooled people with changing, unpredictable weather.
Never the less, the media and major brands have ensured the unofficial holiday’s long life.

We can debate back and forth what would be considered a practical joke or hoax for this holiday but I am sure we can all come up with something embarrassing that has happened in your life that would be a great joke for April Fool’s Day.
I can’t say that I haven’t been a part of a sticky joke of placing syrup on the handles of a friend’s car back in high school, or placing a tortilla on the glass of the backyard door and telling my mom “hey look it’s a full moon,” haha but my humor has transitioned more into the sweeter things.
