I’m super excited, and fortunate to share a part in your self- discovery, and you in mine. I would like you to think of me as your personal confidant (French accent), advocate to your self-love journey.
With these blogs, I’m motivated to learn, share and grow with you all while also embarrassing myself speaking of my own experiences. We will talk about ways to understand and support ourselves more through Astrology, Journaling, Affirmations, giving you the tools needed to do this and so much more, all within the TwinFlame app.

A little about myself, so you can get to know me a bit better. My name is Shanell. Pronounced just like the well-known Chanel brand, though that’s hardly what I was named after. I am a Libra Sun, an Aquarius Moon and an Aquarius Ascendant. Here’s some insight.
My sun in: Libra
At my core, I am social, diplomatic, and fair-minded. I have the ability to concentrate on other’s needs. With the sun in my ninth house, I’m philosophical, open-minded and nomadic. My open mind and curiosity encourage me to seek knowledge and widen my perspectives.
Desire to travel: Currently holding strong at 16 countries lol
My moon in: Aquarius
My emotional self is intuitive, detached, erratic, independent, and friendly.
My detached nature, desire for personal freedom and tendency to get bored easily may make me inclined to be fickle and erratic. I’m open-minded, logical and have a natural ability to communicate with others.
My Ascendant in: Aquarius
How I may be perceived: I can come off as serious, robotic and sometimes arrogant. Social butterfly. I am somewhat detached or abrupt in dealing with the real world. My ability to detach emotionally from people and situations can lead me to be a bit erratic or unpredictable.

I very much dance to the beat of all and any drums. My mom has always described me as a social butterfly, or a free bird. She says I love to learn the hard way. Which is true. I do always seem to make my life harder than it needs to be BUT in my defense I learn so much this way, albeit unintentionally.
I have a spirit guide, my gatito, my little cat, that I found outside the store I was working at a little over 2 years ago. I named him Sparrow after the great Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean. He has a soul just as wild and free as I always hope to be. I am also currently reading Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés. If you have read or are currently reading this as well, I would love to hear what your favorite story is!
In closing, I believe that everyone’s thoughts, feelings and experiences are all valid. We are trying to make sense of the world we live in and I trust the tools I share with you all will help us understand ourselves and our experiences a little better while we wander this earth.
